Cut and Sew Manufacturing

From fabric to finished garment

Cut and sew is the heart of clothing manufacturing — and it's what we do every day.  At our Toronto studio, your fabric is cut with precision, sewn by experienced hands, finished to a professional standard, and checked piece by piece before it ever reaches you.

Whether you're producing a small run of fifty pieces or scaling up an established line, our cut and sew service gives you factory-quality construction with the attention of a studio that knows your name.

What's included in our cut and sew service

  • Cutting - Your fabric is cut accurately to your approved patterns and markers, minimizing waste and keeping every piece consistent.

  • Sewing & construction -  Our sewers construct each garment to your specifications — seams, closures, linings, topstitching, and all the structural details that make a garment hold its shape and last.

  • Finishing - Pressing, trimming, and final touches that take a garment from "sewn" to "ready to sell." This is the step that separates professional manufacturing from homemade, and we don't skip it.

  • Quality control -  Every finished piece is inspected before it leaves our studio. If something doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't ship. Simple as that.

Work with a team that knows garments

Cut and sew sounds straightforward until you're the one responsible for a hundred identical pieces. Fabric shifts. Seams pucker. A detail that worked in a sample behaves differently at volume. That's why it matters that your manufacturer is a team of people who sew for a living — in our own Toronto studio, not handed off to hands you'll never meet.

At Sew-Rite, the people cutting and sewing your garments are the same people you talk to about your project. If something needs adjusting mid-run, we catch it and we tell you.

Who our cut and sew service is for

We cut and sew for emerging designers producing their first runs, growing labels moving beyond home sewing, and established brands that need reliable local production. If you have finished patterns and approved samples, you're ready for cut and sew production with us. If you don't have those yet, start with our pattern making or sample making services — we'll get you there.
